More Biblical Prophecy

We don’t have to rely on numerologists to tell us that these are indeed the Latter Days. Look at the Signs and Portents that were in the paper this morning:

EGYPT
Such a plague of locusts unseen in 50 years

CAIRO — In an echo of the biblical plagues, millions of locusts swarmed into northern Egypt on Wednesday for the first time in 50 years, prompting an order for emergency pesticide spraying to protect the region’s agriculture industry.
Clouds of the red insects, up to 2-3/4 inches long, flitted over Cairo, while others hopped around on rooftops.
Locusts eat their weight — about 0.07 ounces — in crops every day and can travel 120 miles a day.

The little unattributed snippet in the “World News” section of the paper this morning raises more questions than it answers. SG demands answers to the following important questions:

1. Why isn’t Biblical capitalized, and how do they know it’s an “echo” and not the real deal? Could this be an Evil Power stretching its wings?

2. On what day of the week do plagues usually occur, and what was going on in the world 50 years ago, when the last Wednesday plague occurred?

3. How does a locust know when it has eaten its weight, and what sort of crops did they expect to find on Cairo rooftops?

4. What happened to all the blue locusts that were supposed to control the red ones?

Maybe Brother Pat will give us the answers tonight on the 700 Club.

hey - 0.07 oz/day ain’t nuthin to be worried about! Shoot, it’d take them things a year to get through my garden.
