US Rebukes Ukraine
From the Desk of K. Rove– URGENT. Guys, we have a problem. Putin’s not very good at following instructions, and he’s about to ruin it for all of us. We told him you don’t steal an election when you can buy it, and if you are going to steal it you have to be subtle. Imagine, we know more about rigging an election than the guy who used to run the friggin KGB!
Seriously, guys, we need to contain this fast.
Action Points:
Colin: Publicly rebuke the Ukraine and announce that we won’t “accept” the results of the election.
Condy: Back-stop Colin. Good op for you to start looking secretarial.
George: Talk to Vlad soonest. Call him on the hot line so he knows it’s important. Make sure he understands that we have to do a recount now, but this time don’t win by so much!
Everybody: If anybody complains about the “pot calling the kettle black,” remember: we won fair and square, the American People have spoken, we have a mandate, and those guys are just a bunch of sore losers. I’ll make sure the news outlets don’t run the two stories too close together.
